The first things people ask
How much does it cost to hire you?
The first consultation is free. If we take your case, you pay no attorney fee unless we win. Case costs, such as court filing fees, are separate, and we explain them in writing before you sign.
Can I talk to you in Spanish?
Yes. Magdalena and Everardo both speak Spanish and English, and this whole site is in both.
How do I know it’s a case?
We ask what happened and when, read your papers and tell you plainly. If it isn’t a case we take, we say so and point you toward help.
How long does it take?
It depends. Some end with a letter; others take months. We tell you what to expect for your case and keep you updated.
Will I have to go to court?
Many consumer cases settle before trial. If yours doesn’t, we prepare you for every step.
The contract says I can’t sue. Is that the end?
Some contracts push disputes into private arbitration. That doesn’t always settle it. Send us the contract and we’ll read it.
Do you take cases outside Garland?
Call and ask. We’ll say plainly whether we can help, or who can.
